If understanding markets and making the most of investment opportunities excites you, then this degree is for you. You’ll study financial markets, taxation, risk management, retirement and superannuation, estate planning, professional identity, and behavioural finance. You’ll also study management, decision-making, and data analysis, developing the capability to integrate and apply this knowledge to current market positions. This degree is offered entirely online with an online community for support and collaboration. Put theoretical study into practice through work-integrated-learning and access to Queensland’s largest student-managed investment fund. Analyse and invest real money in socially responsible, ASX-listed companies with profits reinvested into student scholarships. Students study over three trimesters each year, completing the three-year program in two years. Griffith offers a number of admission pathways to your preferred degree. If you don’t meet the minimum ATAR/selection rank for this degree, you may automatically be considered for a place in the Diploma of Applied Financial Advice/Bachelor of Applied Financial Advice. This means you may receive an offer into the Bachelor of Applied Financial Advice which is conditional on successful completion of the Diploma of Applied Financial Advice at Griffith University. Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Applied Financial Advice you will be transferred into the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Financial Advice program.
