This degree will put you on the path to a career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or nutraceutical industries. You will take specialist courses in areas such as pharmacy management, complementary and alternative medicine, and pharmacology. Study on our Gold Coast campus, positioned within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, across the road from the Gold Coast University Hospital. This unique environment includes an immersive virtual learning space, including a virtual pharmacy, an authentic dispensary, plus formulation, pharmacology and analytical labs. You’ll learn how to integrate the science of pharmacy with clinical practice. Griffith offers a number of admission pathways to your preferred degree. If you don’t meet the minimum ATAR/selection rank for this degree, you may automatically be considered for a place in the Diploma of Health Science/Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours). This means you may receive an offer into the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) which is conditional on successful completion of the Diploma of Health Science at Griffith University. Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Health Science you will be transferred into the second year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) program.
