Course outline

The study of nutrition and dietetics focuses on human nutrition in our communities in relation to the treatment and prevention of diet-related diseases. n the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in foundation subjects and core concepts skills required for a career in health. Graduates can apply knowledge to professional practice in the areas of clinical dietetics, food service management and community and public health nutrition. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with credit. Automatic progression to the bachelor’s degree is limited to a quota of five places and is subject to student results.
