This combined qualification is designed for aspiring professionals who want to combine technical IT expertise with high-performance coaching skills in the rapidly growing Esports industry. Students will gain hands-on experience in network design, game testing, digital media production, and coaching principles tailored to competitive gaming environments.
This dual diploma empowers students to shape the future of esports. Students will master the technical foundations of IT while developing coaching strategies that inspire performance and resilience. Skills Check
Students will be invited to complete a Skills Check after receiving an offer, before enrolling into studies. This helps students ensure the course is right for them and allows TAFE Queensland to understand students’ current abilities in English, Maths, as well as using digital technology.
The recommended benchmark levels for this course are 4 in English, 4 in Maths and 4 in Digital Technology.
If you are applying for a VET Student Loan the required levels to meet academic eligibility, as outlined by Commonwealth guidelines, is Level 4 English and Maths.
