1/2-1 years Full time | An accelerated program (1 semester) may be available to applicants who have completed year 12 and received an ATAR.
Foundation Studies offers a pathway into ACU undergraduate courses. This pathway is for students who have not achieved a Year 12 qualification or international equivalent or reached a sufficient ATAR. Study options include on-campus in Blacktown or Melbourne or fully online from anywhere in Australia. Foundation Studies will act as a pathway to degrees at any of our campuses.
Foundation Studies aims to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed at undergraduate level at ACU. Depending on your previous education experience, you could complete an Accelerated (1-semester) or Full Program (2-semesters) map.
Throughout the program, you will gain familiarity with ACUs facilities, resources, and systems, while also developing a strong understanding of the academic expectations and assessment methods associated with undergraduate study. Classes are designed to offer a highly supportive learning environment.
Upon successful completion of Foundation Studies, students will be guaranteed entry into ACU undergraduate courses provided they satisfy entry requirements. International students will also be required to reach an English language level in accordance with the course they wish to enter.
