The Bachelor of Arts gives you the freedom to pursue your passion for society and culture, and prepares you to be a confident communicator and critical thinker. You’ll acquire deep knowledge across a range of disciplines, underpinned by the Griffith values of equity, diversity and sustainability. Griffith offers a number of admission pathways to your preferred degree. If you don’t meet the minimum ATAR/selection rank for this degree, you may automatically be considered for a place in the Diploma of Arts/Bachelor of Arts. This means you may receive an offer into the Bachelor of Arts which is conditional on successful completion of the Diploma of Arts at Griffith University. Chinese language; creative writing; economics^; history; human geography; indigenous studies; Islam-West relations; Italian language; Japanese language; journalism; language and society; literary studies; political science and public policy; psychology^; screen studies; sociology; Spanish language; strategic communication; theatre.

^ Cross-disciplinary majors able to be undertaken as part of the Bachelor of Arts may require students to complete Foundation courses in their first year as electives to be able to choose majors offered by Schools other than Humanities, Languages and Social Science.
